ATOM ONE
Atom began his graffiti career in the mid-1980s in Dortmund, focusing with two crews on the region's trains. These two groups, each composed of nine members, made a lasting impression by creating pieces on entire train carriages — a veritable whirlwind of colors the world had never seen before at the time.
However, he didn't limit himself to his local scene. Over time, he traveled the world, leaving his mark in numerous cities, as graffiti experienced a major expansion across Europe, particularly in Germany. For nearly thirty years, Atom has painted walls and trains, playing a significant role in the evolution of graffiti into an internationally recognized art form.
After three decades of exploring classical writing, the need for renewal became clear. To break free from the codes and conventions of graffiti culture, AtomOne is moving towards a new approach. He is gradually abandoning traditional large formats to explore the canvas medium, thus opening the way to greater spontaneity, new ideas, and renewed creative freedom.
